The Button Box Store Policies

Shipping

To see shipping and handling charges for your order, enter your zip/postal code, choose your country, and hit enter. Be sure to look at the drop-down menu to see all of the available shipping methods. Shipping times will depend on your choice of courier and shipping destination. Additional shipping methods may be available upon request. Insurance against loss or damage is included on all merchandise. The Button Box is not responsible for items lost in transit. If a package is lost in transit, we will do whatever we can to help locate the package or secure reimbursement from the courier, but we are not responsible for replacing lost items unless we have made an error. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for any return shipping, including insurance when appropriate.

Shipping and handling charges for international orders do not include any import tax or duty that may be charged by customs in the destination country. The customer is responsible for these charges. If you have any questions, please contact us. You may also submit your order and include your shipping request in the Special Shipping Instructions or Comments section of the checkout form.

Returns

Instruments: Customers will receive a full refund of the purchase price if the instrument is returned within two weeks of receiving the instrument, provided that it is in original condition. Shipping charges are not refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. If a returned instrument was purchased during a free shipping promotion, we will charge a 2% re-stocking fee. Special order instruments may be returned within the two-week return period, but a refund will only be issued once the instrument has sold to another customer. Books, CDs, and DVDs are returnable only if the item is defective or if we shipped the wrong item. Accessories & T-shirts may be returned or exchanged if unworn, unused, and returned with original packaging, if any. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless we sent the wrong item or the item is defective.

Warranty

All instruments are guaranteed to be in good playing condition at the time of sale. The warranty for new instruments is one year and for used instruments 6 months. New R. Morse & Co. concertinas are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for 5 years from the date of purchase. Warranties exclude normal wear and tear, abuse, accidental damage, and conditions existing at the time of sale. All warranty work must be done by The Button Box. The customer is responsible for shipping or bringing the instrument to us. We will do the necessary repairs at no charge and return the instrument to the customer at our expense.
