About Us

The Button Box Repair Shop’s work began in 1985, as the repair arm of The Button Box, Inc, a small company of skilled, talented and knowledgeable people who enjoyed building, fixing and selling various kinds of accordions and concertinas. The company was founded by the late Rich Morse. Doug Creighton took over after Rich’s passing in 2009 and continued leading The Button Box until April 1, 2022, when he decided to close the retail store and concertina production in preparation for retirement.

The repair arm of the business is continuing under the able hands of repair technician Bob Snope with Doug’s assistance on the administrative side. The Button Box Repair Shop now lives on as a business entity out of Doug’s and Bob’s homes in western Massachusetts.
