NORTHEAST CONCERTINA WORKSHOP Held this past April 19th 2008 in Sunderland Massachusetts USA 2008 Group Photo
A good time was had by all 60-some concertina players at the Northeast Concertina Workshop sponsored by The Button Box
this past spring. The event started with an open house the Friday
evening before to meet, jam, check out wares and socialize, was
followed up by the day-long workshop series of sessions (22 of them!)
on Saturday, was followed by a staff concert that evening, and wound up
with a session at a local restaurant. The Button Box was open for a few
hours on Sunday for those wanting a last contact before heading
homewards.
The date for next year's NCW event will be Saturday April 18th 2009.
By early February we expect to have full information on the teaching
staff and workshop descriptions. We hope to see you there!
